Learn the fundamentals of upholstery while contributing to the comfort and character of the Upper Valley Haven! In this hands-on, collaborative workshop, we’ll work together to reupholster a couch for the Haven’s Byrne House Family Shelter.
Guided by the experts of Velvet Furn, you’ll learn core upholstery skills and techniques, including deconstruction, padding, fabric layout, stretching, and finishing. Think of this class as equal parts skill-building and community care: you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while helping create a more welcoming, comfortable space for Haven residents.
No prior upholstery experience required.
