Learn the fundamentals of upholstery while contributing to the comfort and character of our shared space! In this hands-on, collaborative workshop, we’ll work together to reupholster the studio couch in the Commons.
Guided by the experts of Velvet Furn, you’ll learn core upholstery skills and techniques, including deconstruction, padding, fabric layout, stretching, and finishing. Think of this class as equal parts skill-building and community care: you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience while helping create a more welcoming, comfortable studio for everyone.
No prior upholstery experience required.
