Sewing Basics

  • CraftStudies Studio & School 87 Maple Street Hartford, VT, 05001 United States (map)

Tuesdays, May 21 - June 4, 2024 | 5:30 - 8:30P | 3 sessions | $175

If you’ve never used a sewing machine or you’d simply like a refresher, this three-part class is for you! Learn the anatomy of the sewing machine and how to get started including bobbin winding, threading, stitch selection, and sewing a variety of seams. Each week, you’ll work on a new project to build your skills and confidence.

Bring your sewing machine (plus its feet and manual) or use one of the studio's sewing machines.

We will review material requirements on the first night of class. Choose from a variety of fabrics from our collection, or bring your own to personalize your project.
