Teaching Artist: Larry Antonuk

Learn the basics of traditional whisk broom construction. Starting off with a simple Bundle Broom, students will master the use of the tumble spool and the story stick, creating a small but serviceable whisk brooms. The workshop will then progress to building a Hawk Tail or Turkey Wing design, using a plaited handle of either broomcorn stalk or basket reed.

All materials and tools will be provided by the instructor.
