You know how to throw a pot—now it’s time to give it a really good base. In this class, you’ll focus on foot design and learn how thoughtful shaping and trimming can transform the look and feel of your work. You’ll practice carving, lifting, and refining feet on thrown forms, exploring both classic and playful approaches. Through demos and hands-on time, you’ll build confidence turning pots upside down and making design choices that add balance, character, and polish. For intermediate and advanced students.
