Sunday, March 29, 2026 | 9A - 3P | One-day workshop | $150

Whether you are primarily a hand-builder or your passion lies in throwing on the wheel, this workshop will teach you to incorporate colored clay into your creative process. After discussing safety concerns and other practical concerns, and a demonstration of how to mix your own colored clay, we’ll spend the morning exploring hand-building techniques. We will look at traditional nerikomi patterns, how to build and inlay canes, and how to use colored clay when creating coil pots. In the afternoon, those interested in throwing will explore both agateware and nerikomi as it applies to the wheel while hand-builders will have the opportunity to create more using the techniques from the morning.
