Throwing Large (SOLD OUT)
Wednesdays, April 8 - 29, 2026 | 5:30 - 8:30P | 4 sessions | $250
Push your throwing skills to a new level while focusing on large pottery on the wheel. Working with more clay than usual, you’ll learn strategies for centering, opening, and pulling taller and wider forms with control and efficiency. Through demos and guided practice, you’ll explore body positioning, pacing, and tool use that support larger work, while troubleshooting common challenges like collapsing walls and uneven thickness. You’ll leave with practical techniques, more confidence, and a better understanding of how scale changes everything at the wheel. For intermediate and advanced students.
Supplies: Clay is not included with registration and must be purchased through the Supply Shop.
Open Studio: Open Studio is included with registration for the duration of your class.
