Join us as we make the Solstice Hoodie by Helen's Closet Patterns! We'll kick things off with a session on working with knit fabrics, size selection, pattern overview and tracing. We will meet weekly to work through the project, learn construction techniques with expert guidance, and support one another along the way. We will conclude with a final celebration night out with our finished garments! We expect this to be a joyful way to learn new sewing skills, share your love of craft with others, and, of course, end up with a great new wardrobe staple! Perfect for adventurous beginners and seasoned sewists alike!

Supplies: Fabrics, thread, and zippers are not included.

Suggested fabrics: Medium to heavy knit fabrics with minimal stretch (0-10% stretch). Sweatshirting and French terry are ideal. Registered students will be sent a list of places from which to source materials.

You are welcome to bring your sewing machine (plus its feet and manual) or use one of the studio's sewing machines.
