In late summer, the Upper Valley is in full bloom with a bright array of dye plants at our fingertips. This two-part workshop will guide you through an exploration of color from garden plants and flowers commonly found around our area, as we process plants, prepare our fiber, and of course, dye! We will use mordants, plant and animal fibers (cotton, wool, and silk) to create an array of colors, patterns, and a dye journal that can be used for future fiber projects!
