Keumboo
Saturday, April 4, 2026 | 10A - 4P | One-day workshop | $175
Keumboo is an ancient Korean art of applying thin gold sheet or gold fill onto silver and fusing the gold to silver. It is a way of adding color and gold at a lower cost to silver than to use gold sheet and yet it adds to the value of jewelry. We will be using pure 24kt gold foil and bonding it onto silver sheet, using a hotplate and burnishers to press the gold into the silver using heat and pressure.
Supplies: Cost of materials $40-100, payable to instructor.
