In part 2, you use the skills you learned working in silver and take it to the next level, working in 18K gold.

In Part 1, learn to make 2 custom silver rings together. No prior metals or soldering experience is necessary. Leave with a sterling silver ring, and the unique experience of transforming a raw material into something wearable, precious, and loaded with love.
Supply Costs: Material fees are based on each ring's unique design. Materials can be purchased in the studio supply shop. Expected materials fee of $15-$30 per ring.

Calligraphy
Sunday, May 5, 2024 | 1 - 3P | One-day workshop | $150
This introductory calligraphy workshop will help you get started with the basics of modern calligraphy. Learn the fundamental details of this art form. Learn how to hold a pen for optimal results, the basic calligraphy strokes and how to form letters and words. No experience necessary!
Each student will receive a pen holder, a beginner-friendly nib, ink, and practice worksheets to keep.
Complete a small project to take home, as well as have the option to join a private Facebook group to continue the fun.

Letterpress Cards (IN PROGRESS)
Saturday, May 4, 2024 | 10A - 2:30P | One-day workshop | $150
At Scale House Print Shop | Using antique wood and metal type, ornaments, and illustrations, you’ll design a single-color card and print it on a printing press that started its working life in 1892. At the end of the day, you’ll take home 25 handmade cards (plus envelopes).
