Learn the basics of sewing while creating chicken pincushions together! We’ll cover sewing machine basics, fabric choices, and finishing techniques to make a one-of-a-kind creation. A great way to build confidence, creativity, and lasting memories—one stitch at a time! This workshop is designed for kids ages 7+ and their care-giver.

Kids, in grades 2-5, join CraftStudies for a creative and fun-filled afternoon! Designed for, but not limited to, students who have early dismissal through the Hartford School District, this program offers a perfect blend of creativity and relaxation. Each session, students will engage in hands-on exploration and craft projects that encourage imagination and artistic expression. All materials provided.
Offered in partnership with Hartford Parks & Recreation Department. Register through the Hartford Parks & Recreation website here.

Block Print: Flowers (1 SPOT LEFT!)
Sunday, May 11, 2025 | 1 - 4P | One-day workshop | $75
Learn basic block printing design, carving, and printing techniques in a relaxed and supportive environment. We’ll sketch, carve, and print, and there will be the option to add color with watercolors and colored inks. You will come away with a completed print suitable for framing, embellishing, and/or sending as a card. This class is perfect for both beginners and seasoned craftspeople. Children 10+ welcome.
